Allanah Ahr, MFA
Hi, I’m Allanah. I’m an animator, motion graphics artist, and educator with a passion for storytelling through visual media.
My work spans 2D, 3D, and stop motion animation, and I’m particularly interested in hybrid approaches that combine live action with animation. I enjoy developing projects from concept through final production, with a focus on thoughtful design, strong visuals, and clear communication.
In addition to my creative work, I serve as a teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I support courses in animation, games, and project management. I value creating a collaborative and supportive learning environment and enjoy helping students build both technical skills and creative confidence.
My films and projects have been recognized at several festivals, including nominations at the Annecy Film Festival and the Palm Springs Animation Festival.
At the core of everything I do is a love for creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. I’m always looking for new ways to push my work further and connect with others through animation.
I am currently based out of Dallas, Texas but spend quite a bit of time in Down East Maine.
